Please join the City of Dallas Parks Department, For the Love of the Lake(FTLOTL), the White Rock Lake Conservancy, White Rock Lake Foundation, and Groundwork Dallas in planting 150-200 new trees at White Rock Lake at the Stone Tables picnic area on January 12, 2013 from 10am-2pm. Lunch will be provided. Bring your work gloves and wear warm clothes.

The mass planting is the first in what volunteers hope will be an annual event to replace aging and dying trees in the nearly 100-year-old park.
