White Rock Lake is a 1,200 acre lake surrounded by a beautifully landscaped park.   Tradition and recreation are swirled together to make Lakewood a fabulous place to live.  It maintains a small town feel within the large metroplex of Dallas.

There is an area of East Dallas, just beyond Downtown, that offers an array of entertainment and recreation.  This wooded, hilly section between Abrams and White Rock Lake is rich in history and tradition.

Beautiful homes, wide streets, and lawns were developed in the early 1900's.  With this historic background and interest in restoration and preservation of homes that developed in the past 20 years, the Lakewood area has maintained its neighborhoods of old, beautiful homes.

At the same time, new homes, ranch houses to bungalows along with some apartments are mixed into the community. The Lakewood area enjoys the close proximity of many recreation and entertainment spots. 6917 westlake copy.jpg (70165 bytes)
