The exhibition of art and artifacts traces the 118-year-old history of the former “Old Red” Dallas County Courthouse. Local artists have contributed works to illustrate Old Red as they see the historic landmark in their daily lives: at work, at play, and as a symbol of the strong leaders of Dallas and Dallas County. Old Red invites visitors to contribute to this exhibit by adding their own snapshots of Old Red to our “Community Bulletin Board,” located inside the exhibit. Also on view are architectural artifacts and the story of the magnificent Victorian structure.

Admission to “Old Red: Through the Eyes of the Community” is included in general admission. General admission is $8 for adults, $6 for seniors, and $5 for children ages 3-16. Admission without general admission is $3 for adults and $1 for children. Admission is free for Museum members.
