Restaurant week started last Friday with “preview” days on Aug. 10-12, the main event running from Aug. 13-19, and “extensions” from Aug. 20 to September 2, 2012.

Over 125 restaurants are signed up for the annual event, which is celebrating it’s 15th year in 2012. Each of those locations is offering a three-course dinner for $35 per person, with each meal sold bringing a $7 donation to the North Texas Food Bank or Lean Pope Home charities. New this year is the fact that 35 restaurants are now offering a three-course $25 lunch option.

Reservations are required for the event and go very quickly for popular spots. If anyone is looking for a +1 on their reservation, we’ll be ready!
