We’ve got two great events for the family this weekend in Lakewood.

On Saturday, The North Texas Master Naturalists are coordinating “Love Our Native Plants and Prairies Day”. This FREE family-friendly event will be held at the Bath House Cultural Center on White Rock Lake, and is designed to attract families. The event will celebrate the value of native plants and grasses that have been a part of Texas history, and are disease and drought-resistant alternatives to non-native species

Back by popular demand, the 28th Annual All British & European Car day benefitting the Shoes for Orphan Souls will be at Dreyfuss Club Point, right on the shore of White Rock Lake. There will be a light breeze, a blacktop surface, plus grassy surroundings with picnic facilities. Come and join other vintage enthusiasts displaying over 200 vehicles for your viewing pleasure.
