November 18 : Angel of Peace Exhibit

Angel of Peace Exhibit2 - Copy

In memory of JFK and the Blessings of Peace.
Receive and acknowledge the blessings of the state of peace that comes from the Angel of Peace Exhibit.

The John Fitzgerald Kennedy Memorial in Downtown Dallas was the first memorial by famed architect and Kennedy family friend, Philip Johnson. The monument was approved by Jacqueline Kennedy herself.

The Angel of Peace Exhibit in memory of John F. Kennedy will be held at the Philip Johnson designed Interfaith Peace Chapel, located at 5910 Cedar Springs Road. Johnson designed this chapel at the end of his life and was able to visit the chapel during its construction prior to his death.

In John F. Kennedy’s June 10, 1963 speech, “A Strategy of Peace”, at American University, Kennedy’s focus was peace. “What kind of peace do I mean and what kind of peace do we seek? I am talking about genuine peace-the kind of peace that makes life on Planet Earth worth living.”

This speech is hailed by many as one of Kennedy’s finest.

Enter the sacred space, pass by the wall of virtues and choose a virtue. Walk the labyrinth. Gently make your way to the Angel of Peace. Take a moment and receive. Receive and acknowledge the Blessings of the state of Peace.
