Lunch, brunch and dinner with the Rangers. That’s how the schedule sets up for the first three games of the American League Divisional Series between Texas and the Toronto Blue Jays. Game 1 at Toronto on Thursday will start at either 2:37 or 3:07 p.m. CT on FS1. The result of the Wild Card game between Houston and New York will determine the start time for TV purposes. Rangers fans could be drinking Bloody Mary’s or mimosas on Friday with Game 2’s start time set for 11:45 a.m. CT on MLB Network. The series returns home to Texas on Sunday with Game 3 getting a primetime slot on FS1 and a 7:10 p.m. start.

The History of the Texas Rangers started when the old Washington Senators team of the American League in Major League Baseball left Washington, D.C.. A new expansion team was formed with the same name and stayed in the same town until its last season in 1971. The year later, the franchise renamed itself to the Texas Rangers and started its first season in Arlington, Texas as part of the American League Western Division where it still remains today.

Located in Arlington, Texas, Texas Ranger Stadium is a ballpark featuring elements of some of baseball’s classic ballparks and provides one of the best game-day experiences for fans. Originally named the Ballpark in Arlington, the Rangers played their first game at the ballpark on April 11, 1994 against the Milwaukee Brewers. From the exterior to the interior many ideas from bygone ballparks were used at Texas Ranger Stadium. As fans approach the ballpark, it resembles Ebbets Field with its red brick facade and arches. Once inside the ballpark, a brick Walk of Fame containing information and rosters of every Texas Rangers team extends around the entire facility. The Stadium is the only retro ballpark built that is enclosed as over 49,000 seats and a four story office complex surround the playing field.
