GrowSouth is a comprehensive strategy to build a foundation for sustainable growth, and outline five key projects that we believe can jumpstart growth in key areas in the next three years. The City of Dallas has presented a work plan that supports what they can accomplish as part of “GrowSouth” including short term and long term infrastructure and capital improvements that will support and enhance growth in Southern Dallas. The report contains several elements that help show our growrth rate. Those include:

-Forecasts for population, residential, and employment growth in the Dallas region for 2016
-Analysis of changing trends in living and working that affect what the future of growth looks like
-Assessments of how local communities are planning for growth within their own boundaries
-Estimates of available land for development in the region
-Discussion of key policy questions that may or may not be addressed through land supply
