Metrotex Association of Realtors, which is our Residential Real Estate Listing Service (MLS), is celebrating 100 years of service in DFW with a series of tree planting throughout the DFW communities we call home. Friends, clients, realtors, brokers, and family are invited to participate in the community celebration. The association will be giving away 100 free trees to clients and friends who participate.

There are 5 tree planting events planned for 2017 starting in January. This weekend they will be at Moore Park in Oak Cliff. Other upcoming sites include Lookout Park, Embree Park, Loyd Park, and Boys Ranch Park. You can contact Metrotex here for more information or ways to get involved.

Moore Park still stands near Corinth and Eighth streets south of downtown Dallas. In the 1940s, it was a hub for public activities and most predominately Dallas baseball leagues. The field and homes in the neighborhood remain to this day for everyone in the community to use. Find more information and events are Moore Park here.
