August 18 : Dart Rail Rolls Into DFW Airport

Starting this week, passengers can finally ride all the way to Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.

Until now, DART’s Orange Line stopped at the Belt Line Station in Irving where buses carried passengers on to the airport.The new DFW station is at Terminal A where passengers can pass through security and walk directly to Terminal A gates or board the DFW Terminal Link trains to reach other terminal gates.

Lakewood residents can hop on the Dart Blue line at White Rock and head South to the next stop at Mockingbird Station. From there you take the Orange Line directly to DFW Airport. Total travel time is a little over one hour.

Also, don’t forget that Dart offers substantial discounts to students.
