June 3-5 : Magnolia at the Modern

Magnolia at the Modern is featuring critically acclaimed films that have not received widespread commercial attention, as well as restored prints of classic films, independent and foreign films, documentaries and short subject films and films that might not otherwise receive a play date in Fort Worth, advance sales two hours prior to show, see website for scheduling and film descriptions.

Director Denis Villeneuve adapts Wajdi Mouawad’s play concerning a pair of twins who make a life-altering discovery following the death of their mother. Upon learning that their absentee father is still very much alive and they also have a brother they have never met, the pair travels to the Middle East on a mission to uncover the truth about their mystery-shrouded past. This universally acclaimed and overwhelmingly Internet-approved drama is tense, shocking and moving and is premiering at the Modern Museum of Fort Worth.
