You’ll find artist Milan Bender living in funky Little Forest Hills, home of the annual White Rock Artist Studio Tour, in Dallas, Texas. For Milan, life = art. He sees potential in the left overs of nature’s gifts, or the castoffs of our industrial society. Milan calls his art – Modern Recycling, which typically consists of 80-90% recycled found objects. Many pieces achieve 100% recycled status. Milan is also an owner at Rain Fresh Bottled Water Company, along with his mother, Cindy, and 5 siblings.
Milan also has a background in custom framing, art installation, and lighting design, which he draws on for his own artwork. He has also worked with photography for 13 years, using digital as well as classic darkroom photography. His portfolio includes photos from his travels in England, France, Switzerland, Holland, Belgium, Costa Rica, Nicaragua The Bahamas, and Thailand.
