That “aha” moment.
I’m a writer of sorts. Mostly real estate. I’m in Aswan, Egypt having dinner at the Old Cataract Hotel and working on this weeks e-newsletter.
Working remote, I am in negotiations on 2 sales, preparing a new listing, a price reduction on another, comping out a record appraisal value on a sale pending while negotiating repairs. I suddenly realized, this is where Agatha Christie wrote her highly creative and famous book titled “Death on the Nile”.

The rich heiress, impoverished friend, a couple of suitors, acquaintances with straightened circumstances. Heiress snatches her impoverished friend’s fiancé and they are off on a honeymoon cruise over the Nile. The outraged jilted lady friend, Poirot, a couple old ladies, a couple of young ladies, a few mysterious men – are put together in the cruise. What follows is a medley of intrigue, quarrel, theft, murder and mayhem. And this is the 1930′s!!!
Agatha Christie’s love for Egypt and her extraordinary writing shines forth in this famous murder mystery title… Death of a Nile!
