It’s open… Chipotle Lakewood! Ours is actually very beautiful. With all the Mexican restaurants here in Dallas, I have come to Love this simple and delicious eatery. The place I go to fulfill my Mexican food craving. Fresh food, fast, nice environment and no TV’s.
Many changes here and lots happening in our wonderful neighborhood. Our Lakewood Starbucks is currently under renovation. Many new restaurants opening from Chips to Liberty burger and now talk of a new restaurant on White Rock Lake
Of course a restaurant on the lake sounds great in theory, but I am thinking that Lakewood Neighborhood will not allow this to happen. Lakewood/East Dallas has so far been able to stop a YMCA taking over our land at Winsted, CC Young from building a huge complex, stopping a 25 story high rise on the Emerald Island and of course the Dallas Arboretum working on their coup to take land at the Eastern shore of the lake. The Lakewood Community is strong and focused and understands the traffic and congestion that has been taking over our lake. We love sharing our lake with the city of Dallas, never the less, this is our home and we live here. You want to eat at our lake? That’s what picnics are for.
