It’s one of Dallas’ most time-honored Springtime events. Come join everyone as we celebrate The 44th Annual Swiss Avenue Historic District Mother’s Day Home Tour. Happening this year, just as it does every year, on Mother’s Day weekend, Saturday, and Sunday, May 13th and 14th.

This weekend-long tribute to Dallas’ historic past will feature seven of the city’s most fabulous Early 20th Century homes, an art fair, a vintage auto display, a children’s play area, live entertainment on the Avenue, free horse-drawn carriage rides, complimentary air-conditioned mini-coaches, freshly prepared food, ice-cold beverages, and much more.

Sunday Mother’s Day Brunch at Savage Park will feature some new food options for both brunch and lunch this year. Diggs’ Tacos, our food provider for the entire Home Tour weekend, will offer breakfast tacos and sides starting at 11:00 a.m. Ruthie’s Rolling Cafe will join us from 11:00 am-2:00 pm and will be serving up their full menu of gourmet sandwiches and sides

The homes on tour this year represent several of the Early 20th Century’s most popular architectural styles. Featured will be an elegant French Eclectic with Beaux Arts elements, a storybook Tudor Revival, a classic Georgian, a stately Jacobethan Revival, and three distinctly unique examples of the Classic Prairie Foursquare, a style that is quintessentially American in origin.
