
Easter in the Park with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and the 22nd Annual Pooch Parade & Costume Contest
Round up the family, kids, blankets and bonnets for an entertaining afternoon of music and picnic lunches! Celebrating its 22nd anniversary, the Turtle Creek Association presents Easter in the Park featuring the hilarious Pooch Parade and Costume Contest at 1 p.m., followed by a live concert of light classics and pop favorites by the Dallas Symphony Orchestra at 3 p.m. The event kicks off at 11 a.m. with the Pooch Parade registration and continues till 5 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
Guests are invited to bring picnic lunches or may dine on a wide variety of “State-Fair-type” foods, such as corn dogs and funnel cakes. The event benefits beautification projects in the Turtle Creek area.
