Hosted by the Lakewood Early Childhood PTA, the 34th Lakewood Home Festival is a community-wide event that attracts more than 3,000 attendees and is run by more than 400 volunteers. This year’s Lakewood Home Festival will be November 12-14, 2010. The fun-filled weekend starts Friday with an evening candlelight tour and auction party fundraiser. Saturday and Sunday doors open to our holiday market, café and five spectacular estates each with a unique design style for you to tour. Last year’s Festival proceeds topped $103,000 and went to support local DISD schools: Lakewood Elementary School, J.L. Long Middle School and Woodrow Wilson High School. The funds directly benefit students through the purchase of school materials, computers and enrichment programs. Tickets purchased in advance or day-of at Tom Thumb are just $10!
