About 15 years ago (can’t believe it’s been this long) my good friend Worth Ross saw some really cool life size sculptures in an art gallery hear in Dallas by local artist Zad Roumaya and Worth wanted to show them to me. I was captivated. So fun and whimsical!!! Feeling so great-full that I was living right on White Rock Lake at the time that I really wanted to share and offer them to the community. So I was trying to figure out how to afford them when the Gallery owner shared about the Partners card that was going on. Done!!! I was able to afford all 4 sculptures and basically got the 4th one free, saving about $2,500. All four are still There at my old property at West Lawther and Hillgreen doing their wonderful cartwheels even though the house has been torn down. Go say hi to them!!!!

Here’s HOW it works. Purchase a Partners Card for $70 at www.partnerscard.org. The Partners Card entitles the cardholder to a 20% discount at participating retailers for a ten-day period from October 30 – November 8, 2015. There are more than 750 retailers that participate in the program each year.

Over the past 22 years, Partners Card has become the largest fundraiser for The Family Place and is one of the most popular shopping events in the Dallas Metroplex. In 2014, Partners Card celebrated its 22nd anniversary with more than 750 participating retailers and restaurants selling over 16,000 cards and proving over 16,000 nights of shelter to women, men and children. In its history, the community has helped raise more than $14 million through the PartnersCard program.
