Join The Dallas Arboretum every Friday in July for “Family Fun Fridays” located in the Pecan Grove. There will be face painting, a petting zoo, silhouette artist Micki Triggs ,and music for the little ones. Free with standard admission ticket.

Once the kids head to bed, enjoy Garden Gigs every Friday night, starting at 7:30pm. This is a full-grounds musical event featuring local musicians. This event is open to the general public with $10 admission ($8 for members), complimentary parking and some of DFW’s favorite food trucks. This Fridsay’s set list is as follows:

Devin Leigh – a singer, songwriter, and guitarist whose solo work is a mixture of rockabilly, country, blues, and southern rock, infused with fiery guitar.

Matt Tedder – often called an “old sole,” Tedder has a distinct style that is reminiscent of Jackson Browne and Tom Waits.

John Lefler & Camille Cortinas – Singer and songwriter John Lefler, formerly of Dashboard Confessional and The Wimbledons, teams again with Dallas native songstress and songwriter Camille Cortinas.
