If you are looking for something different to do this year to celebrate the most important woman in your life, look no further than the Swiss Avenue Historic District Mother’s Day Home Tour. While it may seem somewhat cruel to parade Mom through a tour of homes the likes of which most normal people will never come close to owning, this weekend-long fete will feature live entertainment, an art fair, food and the opportunity for a Mother’s Day brunch (for only $20!) catered by Penne Pomodoro. The 38th annual event kicks off Saturday and will continue on Mother’s Day from noon to 6 p.m.
