Dallas’ very own USA Film Festival screened John Lee Hancock’s film The Blind Side at the Angelika Theater at Mockingbird Station last night! John Lee Hancock was in attendance and gave a stellar Q&A after the film.

Based on the extraordinary true story of All-American football star Michael Oher, The Blind Side depicts the remarkable story of a virtually homeless black teenager who went on to be No. 23 pick in the first round of the NFL draft this year by the Baltimore Ravens. After being taken under the unlikely wings of the Touhys, a wealth white Memphis family, Michael realizes his potential both on and off the football field. Michael’s presence in the Tuohys’ lives leads them to self-discoveries of their own. This heart-warming film is a must see!

The Blind Side will open nation wide Nov. 20th 2009.
